On a lighter note, Jorge Cham, the creator of the comic strip "Piled Higher and Deeper", was the guest speaker at the CSE colloquium last week! I'm a fan, in case anyone noticed from the PhD comics link in my list on the right... :)His talk on The Power of Procrastination was very engaging, and does his reputation justice. You can find an excerpt here. Plus, I got to get a signed copy of one of the printed books. Yay!
